Peter Rothschild, M.D., is the founder and CEO of IES and oversees all aspects of the company. He is the key strategist in sales and marketing of the IES Dicom and enhancement workstations, accessories Dr. Rothschild is a Board Certified Radiologist and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of California at San Francisco. Dr. Rothschild's undergraduate training was at Indiana University and the University of Louisville. He earned his M.D. in 1981 at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Indiana University Hospitals and achieved Board Certification by the American Board of Diagnostic Radiology in 1985. In 1988, he joined the University of California at San Francisco, Department of Radiology, where he was the Clinical Director of the MRI research laboratory. This laboratory developed the first open MRI. Here, Dr. Rothschild became intimately familiar with the technology, theory and physics underlying magnetic resonance imaging, particularly in relationship to image quality. Dr Rothschild is editor of the book, Open MRI, as well an author of numerous chapters. He has taught many radiologists from around the world on the topic of MRI and has published numerous articles on the topic. Dr. Rothschild was the first to place an Open MRI (Access) unit in the Northwestern United States. Dr. Rothschild is an experienced and sought after speaker, who has lectured both on national and international levels. He is considered one of the world's experts in Open MRI. Mr. Prasad is primarily responsible for the development of IES interfaces to MRI systems and has the overall responsibility of all new product development and enhancements to existing products. He also assists field service with his technical expertise, and supervises the training of personnel involved in the manufacture and installation of the IES. Mr. Prasad holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Kansas, where he was inducted into Eta Kappa Nu, National Engineering Honor Society. Mr. Prasad taught courses in Electromagnetics, Electronics, and Digital Systems Design while at the University of Kansas. His graduate research project was in the area of algorithm visualization and the application of graphical techniques to improve expert system efficiency. Other areas of research included Electromagnetics, Signal Processing, Graphics, Computer Visualization, Telecommunication, and Artificial Intelligence. He has also earned bachelors degrees in Biology from the University of Madras, India, and Electrical Engineering at Bangalore University, India. Email: raajp@iesmri.com Ms. Elizabeth Bisconer has worked in the field of MRI for the past 9 years. She has an A.S. degree in Radiological Technology from Foothill College located in Los Altos Hills, CA. She is certified in MRI through ARRT and RMRIT. She has worked extensively on the Toshiba Access with additional experience on Toshiba MRT .35T, Hitachi's MRP7000 and Airis, as well as GE's MR Max and Signa. Prior to working as a Technologist, Ms. Bisconer's work history has always involved the service industry, ranging from restaurant management to singing telegrams. Ms. Bisconer was one of the first two technologists ever to use the IES. Her experience with the IES grew right along with the company until she joined IES full-time in 1994. She has filled a variety of positions at IES including Applications Specialist, Field Service, and she authored the IES User Manual for the Toshiba system. As a MRI Technologist, Ms. Bisconer brings an understanding to the IES Service Department that helps in all aspects of customer relations. She has excellent interpersonal communication skills that give her the ability to guide our customers through all areas of system usage and diagnostics. Ms. Bisconer was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, a 4th generation Californian. She loves the outdoors, frequently backpacking, camping and exploring the Sierra's with her husband,three children and two dogs.
